I have a G4/400 (10.2.1) which shares my cable modem connection via airport (through a Proxim Skyline wireless router) to an iMac running 9.2.2 and a G3 PowerBook running 10.2.1.

I have an Epson Stylus 777 hooked directly to the G4. Can the Powerbook and the iMac print to the 777 via Airport?

I have USB printer sharing turned on, but neither computer finds the printer.

Thanks.

Well it works.

Try rebooting the computers, and make sure Appletalk is on.

Good luck

Appletalk is on, but only my HP Laser Printer shows up, (it is attached to the router). The 777 is attached directly to the G4 via USB.

Any other ideas?!

Thanks.

You're saying the Epson 777 doesn't even show up as an available printer on the G4 to which it's plugged into ("neither computer finds the printer")?

I would make sure I could print first to the 777 from the G4, and then work out the print sharing with Appletalk on both machines.

Are you sure the drivers are installed on the G4?
