any suggestion for a good wireless PC card for the PB G3 running MacOS 9.1? Why most of the manufacturer don't support Mac? I thought the drivers for PCMCIA were built in the operating system. Do you really need the software from the card manufacturer?

Use any of the following:

Farallon skyline
Cisco pcm352
Lucent / Orinoco Wavelan (silver or gold)

The Lucent one will work as if it were an airport card, with the airport setup assistant.
The others will use software from their CD to make them work (or by download)

All will work very nicely.
