Is it possible to print to an Epson 1270 through TCP/IP?

Gimp-Print with Cups says the 1270 is fully supported. Install Gimp-Print for OSX, set -up the printer in CUPS on http://localhost:631. You will need to know the Printer's IP address.

Hope this helps, I'm not completely familiar with your printer, but using GIMP-Print I have a parallel port Brother 1240 Laser Printer running off a Linux Samba server, I print wirelessly from my notebook all the time.
