OK, so i have been trying to get Netmeeting to work under Virtual PC 5 for weeks now and am having no luck. My boss in Canada needs me to be able to use it to connect to him and other people we may have to train.

I can't recieve audio though he can hear me which sounds, from info I have seen elsewhere, to be a firewall problem. I have set up the following:

NetGear DG814 ADSL Router connected to my Mac and to an airport basestation serving two TiBooks. Have assigned DMZ to server at an IP address out of those automatically allocated by DHCP/NAT. 192.168.0.26 (it distributes up to 192.168.0.25).

I have my Mac set to configure using DHCP and it connects fine to the web.

Virtual PC is set up using Virtual Switch, with IP address 192.168.0.26 i.e. in the DMZ.

WINIPCFG in VPC confirms that the PC is at this IP address.

Still no audio.

I will be forced to buy a PC and have it sitting here on my desk and I can't stand that thought. Please let me know if you have any ideas...

As unfortunate as it is, I think you should just go ahead and buy a cheap PC. Use your Mac for the other things.

The problem is not the Mac but NAT. A PC behind NAT would not work either.

do urself a favor take ur mac. pick it up really high and drop that junk to the floor and get urself a nice over powered pc.. trust me u will be happy because i know i did
