For those of you in the UK,

Orange is allowing Pay As You Go users (prepaid non-contract subscribers) to use GPRS.

This is great for me, using a USB Bluetooth Adapter to hook up to a Nokia 6310i and access the net.

And I don't pay for how long I spend online, only for how much I down load (£4 per megabyte), so I can remain continously connected, and I don't have to race against the clock.

All this, and I can travel anywhere in the UK and make use of this service on the road.

And at the end of the day, I'm not even tied down to a contract, I just connect and just pay for what I download - no subscription fees.
