Orig Ibook running 10.2.3
Graphite BS V 3.84
New Airport card in Ibook
No connection.
Base station in Bridge mode, Ibook set to static IP.
Ibook sees the BS, gets BS ID # but says "Status unavailable" at the bottom of the Internet Connect Window. Full signal level and correct network name in IC.
Not using WEP or closed network at the moment.
It looks like everything is seeing everything else but I can't surf when using a strictly Airport connection!
Have I missed something here? Is the Airport Card in the Ibook bad???
(Just for your info, it was behaving this way with a Linksys BEFW11S4 also. Never got that to work either.)

HELP!!!!!

After looking at the info in the Network Utility, when the Airport card is active in the Ibook it says the link is inactive and the IP address is 6.3.6.0. However when I turn off the card in the Ibook it says the correct IP address and that the link is active!!!!
I'm confused!!

Help some more!!!!!

Dave

Have you tried resetting the ABS along with using DHCP?

You'll probably need to post more detail about your setup for people to help. Like why are you in bridge mode?
