so i've tried to do Jaguar's Internet Sharing via Ethernet
heres the setup...
MODEM-->ROUTER-->AIRPORT ))) iMac-->Ti (eventually GameCube)
(--> is wires ))) is airport)
now i've configured everything correctly i think.. I started to do this on a Ti so i can see the DHCP etc then i plan to switch it over to a gamecube once it works on the Ti....
SO the iMac it seems is sending out the the interner via ethernet. In network settings, the Ti does show an IP address(192.168.2.5), and it shows packets sent/recieved and that its active (according to network utilities)
I've tried the cross over cables, and I've tried patch cables...no luck at all.
heres the system settings
iMac
-Airport on top DHCP
-ethernet on bottom DHCP
Ti
-Ethernet only selected DHCP
if all this doesn't work i'm going to have to pay $100 for a wireless ethernet bridge...and i don't want to do this...
at school i share my internet via the iMac and airport w/ the Ti all the time...so that internet sharing (wireless) works flawlessly...i just can't get the wired way to work.
any help would be great guys i'm really at a loss and i've been trying this forever. Brickhouse can't do it...Jaguar can't do it...COME ON MACNNERS!!!
