I'm trying to use my brother's wireless card on my powerbook (wavelan lucent) but it doesn't seem to work. How do I get this working? Can I use it in by 'book? I've downloaded the airport software but I can't seem to figure it out (not very good with computer stuff like this!)

well, without knowing the particulars
(if your going to request help, pls
include machine model & OS in question),
its hard to say but the bottom line
is that under OSX, you need to use
the opensource drivers on

wirelessdriver.sourceforge.net

and then configure it. The Airport driver
ain't gonna work.

I have and use Wavelan cards on a Lombard
and TiPB4 and they work fine.
