I am trying to connect to my XP Pro Machine from my Imac. They are on the same network sharing the Airport for the internet. I keep getting error messages or various types. Does anyone know how to setup the XP machine? I just need to xfer files from one machine to the other.

thanks

I figured it out. I am on OS 10.2.3. One weird thing happened though...one time when scanning for available computers on the network the desktop got dimmer and told me I had to reboot the machine. Once I did a hard reboot of the iMac all was fine again.
