Hi, well i seem to have got the sharing and networking to work from my ibook looking at my win 2000 hardreives, but my problem seems to be that when i'm on my Winbox i can only look through the user's home not the entire drive. could some plz help me.. thanks/.. ireally appreciate it..
i also am trying to network my printer that is connected to the pc. and then the pc is connected to the router and my ibook them conects to the router also...i tried a bunh of stuff..but haven't got a clue

you might need to login as "root" from your PC box. Enabling root user on the ibook is a start. Search for it in the os x section.

For the drive access problem, you need to modify the permissions on your OS X box. You can do this by editing your smb.conf file (see details on MacOSXHints). You may also want to enable SWAT which will allow you to manage sharing through your web browser (MacOSXHints details).

For the printer, you can try using the Print Center (see details on MacOSX Hints), but driver availablity often becomes an issue. Instead, try GIMP-PRINT GIMP-PRINT for OS X.
