I have an airport card in my superdrive powerbook and a linksys wireless router (WRT54G connected to a cable modem). Recently, my connection is going at a snail's pace. The icon on the task bar, says I have full connection, but it takes 15-20 seconds for every webpage to load. I have tried turning off 128 WEP, changing the wireless channel, made sure no one was using a cordless phone or microwave, but the same exact thing occurs. Any suggestions, it is really frustrating.

Try connecting via an ethernet cable to see if it is your wireless connection or just a cable service slow down. You can test your cable speed at DSLReprts.

I'm with aaanorton on this. Interference sources show up as poor signal, as well as slow data, and you've eliminated the most likely culprits for that. It's possible that your cable modem is what's doing the crawling, not your wireless system.

That pretty well says that it's a wireless problem then. What does the AirPort Admin Utility say about your configuration? What is the setup in your wireless router? It's possible that something in one of those settings (maybe more likely in the router?) has changed that has slowed you down.

Do you have any numbers? What are DSLReports' d/l speeds for each set up?

Download speeds are fine, I was getting 220k/s before, but websurfing in soooo slow. I tried 3 browsers all the same. It takes at least 20seconds to load google.
