i am trying to get my powerbook running OS X to start up internet sharing through my cube, but when i click internet sharing to start up, it does nothing

any idea what i could do to get this to work?

It might be more helpful if you provide a step-by-step summary of what you're doing.

But I'll just throw this out for now: is your Firewall turned on? I've found that I couldn't share files and my internet connection with it enabled.

Also, how are you connecting the two computers? Ethernet? Airport?

oh sorry i was in a rush today and didn't think about specifics. ok, i am on dial-up with my cube, ethernet to my powerbook. i have personal file sharing and personal web sharing turned on on both. i have tried with firewall on and off and still the powerbook doesn't even seem to try and start up
