I have a LinkSys 10/100 PC Card (wired) that I'm trying to use on an old PB 5300.

I've tried the Linksys site but they have no Mac drivers. I was wondering if there is a generic driver available somewhere. There seem to be a number of wireless drivers out there but no wired ones.

Which model card do you have? Different models may use different chipsets.

Model is PCMPC100

Do you think I can find a driver for it?

At least one version of the PCMPC100 seems to be based on the Tulip chipset. Look here for a possible driver. Good luck.

Thanks for the link but that won't allow a non-developer to access the site.

Any other way to get it?

Oops. I guess I copied a link that I should have investigated before I passed it on.

Anyway, try this link to Proxim's support pages. The description of their card makes it sound very similar to Linksys' card.

Thanks but I installed it but the card wasn't recognized when I put it in.

Good try. I really appreciate the help. If you know of any other avenue I'd sure like to try it.

Thanks again.
