Ok here is my problem.
I have an airport base station, and iBook and an XP system.
My iBook connects with a wireless card, my xp system plugs into the LAN connection on the base station.
That works fine for a basic internet connection but when I try to use Gamespy to connect to a multiplayer game (in this instance MOHAA) Gamespy detects that I am behind a proxy and the connection to the game server times out.
The airport gets the real IP and distributes 10.x.x.x to the iBook and XP system.
I noticed in the airport utility it gave me the option of turning off sharing ips and turning distributing a set of ips. I am assuming that it still will only let me distribute internal ips. Is there something I can do to get around this and have my xp machine have a normal ip address? Or at least pretend to?
Thanks for your help,
