Sure will. "AirPort" is simply Apple's trademark for their 802.11b hardware. If it says 802.11b, or "WiFi," then it works with AirPort.

The only (minor) problem with non-Airport wireless routers is that configuring WEP can be a little tricky. It's certainly much easier if you have an Airport Base Station.
I do not like those green links and spam.
I do not like them, Sam I am.

Depending on the version of the machine's firmware and your AirPort software you may have some issues with putting in a WEP key. Every other manufacturer expects a key to be input in hex, but AirPort software defaults (or at least it used to) to ASCII. If you don't see a selection for what form of key you're entering, start the input with a dollar sign ($) and that will tell the software that the input is hex.

Many vendors' equipment is set up to generate hex keys from a "passphrase." This works well; you just copy down the hex data and copy it into the AirPort software.

The only other issue is that sometimes the various settings for WEP can be a little confusing. Just post your questions here and several people will come up with explanations and tips. No matter what, though, DO USE WEP. It ain't the greatest in security, but it sure beats using nothing!

Hopefully, all the info will come in the instruction manuals and what not. I should get it sometime today, so I probably will be setting it up tonight or something.

Thanks again.
