Anyone know if Windoze will support an AE Base Station shared printer?

I'm picking up an AE base station next week, and a new printer soon.

Wondering if I can share on the base station and have my PC access it, or if I'll need to set it up on a share on my Windows box and inconvenience my powerbook with having to do SMB printing.

I'll take a stab at it. I think so, but it may take some doing. I know that a printer directly connected to a PC and shared through it is accessible over the network (wired or wireless) from a Mac. You use GIMP to connect to the printer and it's just like the printer is connected to the Mac. That said, it may be simpler to connect the printer to your PC and share it than to figure out how to make a printer on a Mac visible to the PC.

Hi,

I got an airport extreme station, and it's not as easy as it sounds. I got an ibook 700/10.2.5 and a PC with XP and guess what, well first of all there's only few printers supported by the airport station (mostly epson and canon) and secondly I can't see any of it on my PC.
Wouldn't be to optimistic about it, but good luck.
Apart from that airport rocks!!

M.
