I'm all Mac at home including an AirPort Extreme. Unfortunately the job that pays the bills is all PC based. I'm trying to access my work network from home via a Win2K PC over SecureRemote and am getting communication errors. The network guys at work think it's because the AirPort doesn't handle ipsec. The latest docs say it does in addition to PPTP, VPN, etc.. Our firewall is Checkpoint BTW if that matters.
I have the PC connected to a hub connected to the AirPort connected to the DSL Modem.
PC > Hub > AirPort > DSL Modem
Are there any settings on the AirPort side that I need to adjust to make this happen? Has anyone else in a mixed environment been able to access a VPN network using the AirPort? I can connect to other public sites from the PC like Yahoo! but once I try to connect to an internal site to my office I have problems.
Any help or ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Todd

I'm trying to use the PC to access my work network thru the AirPort. The apps mentioned above are Mac specific for doing the same thing, yes? They aren't adding functionality to the AirPort are they? Right now the PC isn't connecting.
The AirPort docs says it supports PPTP and IPSec witout secure headers. I have to find out our VPN access is using secure headers or not. I'm probably going to try a Linksys router and see if that is any better.

I bought a Linksys router and all is solved. My PC can now use SecuRemote and access my work network while the Macs do their thing. The AirPort went back in the box.

I have been debating Airport Extreme vs. Linksys WAP54G router...
I have a similar setup to yours... all Mac at home and I bring home a Dell PC laptop to vpn into work. The laptop runs Win2K. For now, I just plug it (via ethernet) into my SMC router and connect via broadband (ATT).
I contacted checkpoint and they said maybe later this year they would release a Mac OS X verison of SecureRemote. Nothing for certain though.
