I was trying to upload some files to a web site using GoLive 6 and kept getting errors. The first file would transfer but the second file would always give an error. Something like CWD: error. It wasn't a problem with the file, though. I tried the same operation but with a different set of files and ran into the same error.

I then eliminated the AirPort by going back to a direct connect to the DSL Modem. All was well. No errors and all of the files uploaded just fine.

Has anyone experienced ftp problems with the Extreme or maybe there's a configuration setting I missed?

Thanks for any tips.

I've seen errors with normal AirPort. I have two computers, both with cards and the one is connect to DSL with PPPoE. I can rarely upload correctly to my FTP servers. It's completely random.

Are these passive or active connections? Can one even specify this in GoLive? Passive tends to be more firewall friendly if that is in the mix. I'm curious if this is seen with both methods.

I have it in both methods. I don't have a firewall running either, other than perhaps some built-in feature of my Sympatico DSL service.
