Next weekend I'm going to visit a friend with a WinPC (i think he's running Win2K). I have an iBook with, of course, 10.2.4.
He has an ethernet (RJ-45 connector) card in his pc. So, how do I set up my iBook that he can access it via FTP or something. Last time I tried it using the sharing panel and it didn't work. But that was in 10.1.5.

to access your friend's folders without logging in with a password, just set the user name to Guest and login with no pass, it should work everytime and for any share.
