Hi all: For anyone who's had trouble with Airport Extreme dropping the connection and otherwise behaving erratically, I found, from browsing an Apple discussion board, that Apple released a firmware update yesterday (Feb. 25).

I'm not sure if the link below will work -- just copied and pasted from the document. But it is out there.

about friggin time!! I hope this fixes my woes. I had posted similar problems on this and other discussion sites with this problem ultimately causing me to dump my airport extreme at the nearest apple store and replacing it with another one. The new one works much better, but still has occasional drops in connection which hoepfully this new firmware update will fix.
