I have Netgear's MR814 router that allows my PC and my TiBook to connect to the internet. I want to, however, setup one of those free DNS services that will allow people to access my PC through the internet. Setting up the DNS isn't the problem. Figuring out how to get the outside requests to the specific system is. I've looked at port forwarding, but haven't been too successful. What do I need to do to get certain IP requests made to the router, to point to my PC. I was having the same problem earlier when trying to stream music. It could be heard within the network, but would timeout when accessed from the outside.
Just my $.02 :-)
Ti Powerbook 1Ghz w/ Superdrive ......and lovin' it! :)
