Simple strait foward question, isn't it ?

I we have a P4 with WinXP Familliale edition, a network of 7 mac running on OS9 and OSX, all in a OSX server network.

We haven't worked through the whole troubleshooting of the connection. But our initial estimation is that... it doesn't work.

Is it possible ? If so, a quick hint would be nice. If not, I would like to know before I take 3 days on this problem.

Thanks !

What are you using for the mac network? If you are using appletalk, connecting the pc will be tricky.

If tcp and a hub (with a bit of luck) you should be able to allocate an IP address to in the same subnet the xp machine.

If you have done this, can you ping the xp machine from any of the macs? more info required before continuing.
