I have a PowerMac G4 400 AGP. I've bought a new house and now I cannot connect my iBook through software base station on the PowerMac. I'm about 25 feet too far away. Anyone had success doing a modification to add an antenna to extend the range of the computer acting as a software base station?

You've just bought a new house - buy a base station and put it on the mortgage, and then you can surf from anywhere, without potentially damaging mods to your powermac.

I'd like to do some damaging mods...anybody know of web sites describing such mods?
