Mounting iDisk is fine and I don't really have trouble downloading from iDisk, but how come I can never upload? When I drag and drop files to my public folder the progress bar shoots over to the right and stops at 'less than one minute,' where it hangs. This happens regardless of whether the file is 1MB or 50MB.
I know that cable modems aren't fast for uploading, but I've spent hours trying to upload a single 25MB file. And with the progress bar hanging at 'less than one minute' the only way I've found to actually check the progress of the upload is by repeatedly running iDisk Utility to check my free space and calculate the differnce. And sometmes it never completes the upload.
Someone recommended the WebDav app Goliath, but it had the same problem: seemed to upload the 5MB file quickly, but hung up with 'less than 5 seconds to go.' After about 20 minutes I just did a 'force quit.'
Is it me? Am I just too impatient? Is it my ISP? Or is it iDisk?
