Hi there,

I bought an ethernet card through e-bay and am trying it out in my performa 5200CD with little success. I've plugged in the ethernet cable to the back of my router, and the back of the computer, and all I get is a flashing green light (not steady) on the back of the ethernet card. The connection light on my router for that port doesn't even come on.

Does anyone know what the flashing green light means, or what is happening. I'm using os 8.5 on the performa.

Thanks in advance!

Also, FYI, I *can* see the MAC address in the TCP/IP control panel.
