Hi, I currently have a windows network running all through my house, each room has 1 socket to connect to the hardware downstairs then to the cable modem.
I was wondering if i could get a device that would basically be a box that i plug a cable from the socket into, then it would have ports that will let me connect 3 computers to it, basically sharing the socket. This is probably a realy stupid question but im just wondering if i could do this.
Thanks

Sure. An ethernet hub or switch. There are lots of 'em out there. And they're pretty cheap.
