Just picked up my brand spanking new 12"Powerbook. Thus far have been using a DIY PC, and IBM Thinkpad. Quite an experience to switch.

Now, I want to hook this baby up to my PC which has ADSL connection through an EICON USB modem. Can anyone give advice how to configure with this set-up the Airport Base station best? My dealer told me that I have to buy an ethernet modem, and have to hook that up to the base station. USB modem won't work. Thanks for your advice, and great to be a mac user.

Ya, you'll want to get an ethernet modem. USB modems require drivers, which are all but unavailable for the Mac. I don't know where you are or who your ISP is, but some will replace the modem for you, if you ask (unless, of course, you own that USB modem).
After you get the new modem, the rest will be simple.
