I'm going to be receiving a 17" PowerBook as soon as Apple ships them, and I've got an AE Base Station here waiting for it. I also have a PC in my home. When the 17" PB arrives, I'll want them both to access the internet via my Cable Internet connection. I only have a hub (not a switch/router) in my home other than the actual AE Base Station. So here's my Q...to get BOTH computers online, I'd need a router, so by plugging an ethernet cable from the cable modem output into the WAN port on the AE Base Station, and then an ethernet cable to a port in the hub (w/ an ethernet cable running to the wired PC), and my 17" PB connecting wirelessly, will both computers be able to get online? OR would it better (since I'm only using a single computer OTHER than my PowerBook), to connect the PC directly into the LAN port on the AE Base Station and skip the hub entirely (b/c the hub is of no real purpose feeding info. to only one machine)?
Will the AE Base Station act as a router and allow both computers to connect at the same time, w/ the PB wireless and the PC wired? Any other things/tips I need to know? Do I have the set explained correctly? Any help would be appreciaited!

Hey.. yes, the base station will act as a router and as far as your network is concerned, you could set it up either way you have described. Personally, I would skip the hub simply b/c, as you said yourself, only one other computer besides your wireless powerbook will connecting to the internet. Essentially, then, the hub is redundant. However, should more computers come into the picture, then hooking up the hub would be a big plus. Anyway, good luck with it all.
