I've got Comcast cable and a smallish home LAN here..Ever since @Home tanked, my upload speed has a) been capped at 15K (!!!) and b) begun affecting my download speed. I do a fair bit of filesharing, and can't have uploads killing my downloads, thus getting not a lot done...anyone (preferably on the east coast/NJ area) have Verizon Online DSL? I'd like to switch if the speeds are better. Comments?

DSL is capped also. All I know is that DSL workd best if you are near the actual company building that provides it to you, teh farter away you are, the worse it gets. With cable you have the possibility of getting better download speeds for teh same price as DSL but liek an ethernet connection, the more people, the slower it can be because it is not a dedicated line like DSL. In my personal experience living 4 miles outside of town with cable and in town with DSL, i choose cable.
