Here's the deal...
I want to take a classroom iMac running 9.2.2 and run an Aiport Software Base Station so that teachers in the area who have iBooks with Airport Cards can connect to our network (and Internet) wirelessly. A hardware Airport Base Station is not an option at this time.
So I have the software base station running on the iMac with the Airport Card. The iMac is connected to Ethernet on a Class A network. I am aware the software base station cannot bridge, and I do have "Also support Ethernet client computers using NAT" checked. I also am aware I have to use a manual address for each client airport that will use this software base station for Ethernet purposes (AppleCare Document #86015).
But the problem is while I can see the software base station from the wireless iBooks, I can't see the network nor can I get online. I can from the iMac running the software base station see the network and get online.
Any suggestions?
