I seem to recall there is an option that will wake a machine from sleep if there is specific network activity addressed that that machine. Here's my situation - I've got a few Macs and a few PCs on a network. I can talk to all of them, ping them, share information, share common resources, etc. BUT... the Macs go to sleep after a period of inactivity. Sometimes one of them might go for days without being used. I'd like the machine to automatically awake from sleep if there is a specific request for information - if I try to connect to a share on that machine, etc.
I've been through the System Preferences three-ways to Sunday, but haven't been able to find a "Wake on Network Activity" command.
Any suggestions or pointers would be appreciated.
