I am lookig to create an active roaming network in my house because i have a ti book that gets crappy reception. I would move the cable modem but the cable is already threaded through the wall and ethernet is way easier to run. ok so i just want to make sure that i get it. I will probably use both apple models...just to match...cause im dumb like that...anyway...first the the abs (new snow/new extreme) hooked up to the cable modem via the wan port...then i have a hub connected to the lan and to the hubs uplink port so it would go in between to the printer and other computer. then i have another abs (old snow) in another part of the house hooked into the hub.. and into its lan port...so lan port to lan port....then i set both up for bridging...and the first set up to distribute dhcp/nat addresses while the second has dhcp disabled...after that i set the 2nd basestation to a different station name and same network name and password...do i have to have them on the same channel? I would assume so...and set the right density..in my case high...sound good? by the way thanks a lot.
Chris
PS Can I use a new Airport Extreme to do wired roaming?
i dont care about wireless roaming its easy enough to run an ethernet wire

hope i made sense!
let me know if anything needs clarification
