Our school system uses an alternative wireless access point on a closed network and the encryption key is not given to the users. Once it is setup at work the ibook (using OS 9) retains the information and is usable at the school.

Problem: If the user wants to take the ibook home and connect to his wireless airport network and chooses that network when he gets back to school since the network is closed it will have to be reselected and the encryption key (or password as Apple calls it) will have to be reentered.

Any suggestions on how to make this scenario work without giving the user the encryptiion key?
