My mother just got her PowerBook repaired by Apple. PowerBook G4 TiBook 667 MHz. They replaced a hard drive that died. When she got it back, she cannot get DHCP to resolve over Ethernet, but Airport works fine. What else do I need to check?

I have looked at ifconfig and the media says: autoselect (none) status: inactive.

The DHCP returns nothing. It just stays blank, no self assigned address or anything.

Am I forgetting something obvious?

P.S. I am doing this over the phone, so I have limited access. Give me specifics that I can ask please.
