Just a quick question. Thanks in advance.
We just got DSL here, (i know, we live in the middle of nowhere), and I would like to share my DSL connection between my Windoze PC and my iBook. The DSL modem will sit right next to the PC (it uses ethernet, not USB). What's the best setup for getting DSL to both of my machines, the iBook being wirelessly. Should I buy a cheap router where I plug in the DSL modem, my PC, and a cable to an airport base station? Also, how will this need to be configured on my Mac and PC?

Buy a wireless router, such as the Netgear 814. It has four wired ports, 802.11b standard wireless (which is the same standard that AirPort conforms to), and is configured through a built in web page. This product seems to be a great, cross platform tool for networking, and you can find it for a very reasonable price (in the $50 range sometimes) if you shop around.
