I have purchased an Airport card and installed it in my Cube (using the instructions in the manual) - no problem there.
When I start the Cube (in 10.2.5) it runs fine, but can't see the card, neither in sys.profile or using the airport assistant. When trying in 9.2.2, it crashes (stops loading and displays a bomb cursor), during startup (at the time when the airport ext should load).
I have checked the card on another computer and it works fine. I have found no pins missing or bent the place in the cube where it's installed (and no card had been installed there before).
I have zapped the PRAM.

Any ideas?
TIA,
Peter

ps. forgot to mention: I use Airport 3.0 in 10.2.5 and 2.0.4 in 9

check out your airport card and the slot it goes into and make sure there aren't any bent pins. also, you can update to OSX airport 3.0.4 with Software Update. if those don't work, you should try calling apple - you might have a bad airport card.

Thanks for the suggestions, but:
- no visible bent pins
- have airport 3.0.4
- airportcard check (and works fine) on another mac

Thanks,
Peter

At this point I'd remove all the AirPort software, restart the computer, and reload the AirPort software-do this for both 10.2.5 and 9.2.2. It sounds like one or more of the files has become damaged, and this should fix them.
