For some reason ....

I'm unable to get onto this one website ...... [all other sites work, to my knowledge]

everyone else on my buddy list, can get to it, but not me.

Any clue?

I tried entering in the DNS server, but that method still doesn't work?

hmmmm ????

Are you using a different ISP than your friends who can get to the site? Not all ISPs use the same DNS, and that means that a change in actual IP address for a site could take days to get to one user's DNS, while his friend, using an different DNS, gets the new address immediately.

It's also possible that the site uses some port other than 80, and your friends browsers are handling the port translation but yours doesn't. I've had this happen a few times to my computers, and I still haven't figured out why. See what the actual address your friends are getting to is, and try plugging the numbers into your address box. If the numeric address works, it's just a wierd issue with your IPS's DNS-otherwise it's probably a browser issue.

i don't think it's a browser issue, because on my end, it doesn't work on all browsers [camino/safari/IE]

then I thought it might be a DNS problem ...

but this has happened before. Then it worked for a bit. Then it stopped working again.

Hmmmmm ??

Unless earthlink's DNS servers really suck?

According to Earthlink's Support Page, their DNS servers for earthlink.net customers are:
207.217.126.81, 207.217.77.82, and 207.217.120.83
I'd check the information your computers are getting to see if the addresses match. If not, plug in the numbers above and see if you have a change in results.
