I'd really like to configure my BaseStation, but when I go into AirPort Admin Utility and go to Other, it asks me for the BaseStation's password.... and I don't recall ever having put one in! What the bloody am I supposed to do?

I'd like to configure the BaseStation so that I'll be able to eventually set up a network between the Powerbook and the G4/400 here.

The default password is "public". If that does not work you can do a hard reset which will set the BaseStation back into its factory settings.

Thanks! That worked...... though, AirPort Admin Utility decides to crash right afterwards.

It sounds like your firmware is corrupted. You should probably reload it, and your Admin Utility, as well.
