Here is the setup...
cable modem --> airport base station
airport base station --> dual G4 on ethernet cable (WAN or LAN??)
airport base station --> Tibook via airport card

My download speeds (from dslreports.com) are the same on both the Tibook & dual G4 (~1.7Mbps = ~220KBps).

However, file sharing via appletalk is horribly slow (360kbps = 45KBps). Isn't airport capable of 11Mbps?

I would like to wirelessly sync my files every evening so if I could somehow speed up the connection I would be much happier.

Is there something that I need to configure?

ok. never mind. it seems that i only get the slow transfer rates when i am using chronosync. when i mount my other computer and transfer a large file my transfer speed is ~500KB/s.
