hey all, i've got this iMac DV on a network using ethernet. we have dsl, and are sharing the connection through a router and hubs. here's the deal. yesterday, the iMac internet access just died. like TCP/IP is no longer there. it will not grab info using DHCP and will not work when forced manually. however, i can still share files and see all the computers on the network. is the port busted? we've tried restoring software, starting with no extensions, rebuilding desktop, trashing preferences etc. no avail. running OS9.0.4 right now, used to be running 9.2.2 but i restored it to original, still doesnt work. anyway, hope someone can help. Thanks!
