A friend of mine bought a new 12" with APE card. At home, he has a Zyxel Prestige 650HW 802.11b router for wireless networking. The WLAN works fine with his Windows machine.

But the PB doenst fin'd the network. He installed the client software, but just can't see a network entry to choose/authenticate to.

What does he do wrong? I thought, APE would switch down to 11 Mbit/s with 802.11b networks?
