hi, I have WinHomeXP with a LAN card connected to the Airport Base station. The PC has been assigned an IP address through DHCP, and I can Ping the base's IP. However, I cannot get out to the internet. My Powerbook though has no problem getting out. what am i doing wrong?

It was probably XP figuring out some network settings on its own. It does that-kind of clever. Unfortunately, it doesn't do this sort of thing as quickly or smoothly as a Mac (as in on the fly, while you're looking at it), so it feels clunkier.

The point is that it works now, and you are surfing. Enjoy!
