Hi, I just purchased an AEBS to replace the older generation BS for wireless usb printing. I have DSL connected to a PC to an ethernet hub and to the AEBS with a Ti and iBook wireless network. I am able to access the internet, but can't print wirelessly. I am connecting a Canon i950 to the BS. PrintCenter can't see the printer under Rendezvous. I tried to configure AirPort Admin Utility but gets the "The AirPort Admin Utility was unable to read the configuration of the selected base station" message. Any advice? TIA

I'll take a stab and say that you can't print wirelessly because your network consists of two different subnets, and your printer is in a different subnet than the computer you want to print from.

What purpose does the PC serve in your network? If it's just connection sharing, you can replace it and the hub with a gateway router and simplify the heck out of your network.

Thanks GHPorter. I actually figured it out myself. I needed to connect the DSL line to the WAN port and have the PC connected to the LAN port of the AEBS. (I was using the graphite BS which had only one port.) With this new set up, I no longer need the Ethernet Hub and can print wirelessly with my Canon i950. It is very cool.

Congratulations. With only one wired machine, that's the best solution (and the cheapest, too )

You'd be surprised at what sort of issues come up with various DSL providers and mixed Mac and PC networks. For example, some DSL providers only provide USB modems. Not only are these modems slower than ethernet modems, they only support PCs! What a crock! So a lot of users have to set up a PC to do nothing but translate from the USB modem to ethernet to share with non-PCs.
