HyperDirect HG-XT11P 11 dBi Smart Directional Diversity Antenna

Purchase & Shipping: There is no pricing available on the site, and it took 3 (polite) emails over the course of a week to get an quote (99.95USD). Never received order confirmation, though when queried, HLT's response was prompt. The antenna arrived missing the "tilt-and-swivel" stand. An email response (requesting I get an RMA via their website) was again, prompt.
Physical Description: Horrid. Reminiscent of a fixture on a boat (though admittedly, this provides for outdoor use). It could theoretically "blend" indoors if attached to a white wall, though you would need to camouflage the thin 6 foot black cable (shown as white on the website).
Use: A spectacular result here could very easily dismiss any previous problems. Unfortunately, in every case, the AEBS alone provides me with better reception. My XT11
is functioning, as tilting it away causes a drop in signal. While it's possible (even probable) I have a defective model, and could receive a new one (with a white cable), I declare enough time wasted. Maybe if it wasn't so hideous...
P.S.: If they have them, I'm begging other people to post positive results with HLT and the AEBS. Up to this point, I've only seen them recommended (often) around here with no reviews. If lots of people are happy, speak up! I don't want to be the lone voice if I am the exception.
