I have a ibook 700 and have it networked with a WinXP. The XP has the HP 890C printer connected to it. I have been able to share files back and forth but I cannot resolve the printer connection. I know in recent OSX patch, the "connect printer through smb" is not available.

I can use the terminal to log in as "SU" (thanks to your tutorial) but when I follow your tutorial "configuring cups in jaguar", I get to the swtich to "/usr/libexec/cups/backend" directory, I get a message about not being permitted or authorized.

How do I get past this point to finish the setup?
