I have a linksys dsl wireless router with 3 macs and an ibook with a
airport card. I just bought a maxattach 40 gb NAS at a garage sale.
According to the maxtor web site Appleshare/AFP is not supported but
if I'm running os 9 I should be able to connect the unit via
tcp/ip.
Now I connect to my ibook via tcp/ip because linksys does not
support appleshare over wireless. So I tried connecting to the nas
the same way , but network browser under the apple menu doesn't see
it.
