I am trying to configure my 15" iMac to share its Internet connection to my Airport equipped Powerbook. The Powerbook will see the network, but I am unable to determine the appropriate settings to allow me to surf.

I am using comcast cable modem which provides a DHCP IP to the iMac through the ethernet port. I then chose the share Internet to airport equipped machines.

Anyone using this option that can tell me how to set the network settings on the "client" machine?

The client machine is on Airport, DHCP, nothing fancy. The problem is more likely to be on the "server" machine. Please post more details. Also I used it for a while but the connection would be lost too often for my taste. Wireless routers are below $50 now, cheaper than an airport card. You then get a hardware firewall and extra ethernet ports.
