network causing FTP problems

hi,

i have a wireless network running, and since i set it up it is playing havoc with my dreamweaver FTP.

i'm trying to connect to a tripod/lycos account, and dreamweaver now insists it can't find the server.

do i have to change the settings in dreamweaver, because i am connecting via a network and not dialling up?
