I use the internet sharing built into Jaguar, that you access via system prefs. Problem is I have to restart internet sharing every time I reboot the machine. Is there any way to make it turn on at system startup?

Just get a cheap wired or wireless router. You'll be glad you did.

the easiest (and clumsiest) way would be to record an apple script and set it as a login item...

the best way would be to find out the command used to start the service and have that execute at login

look on www.macosxhints.com

it might be there

No. I don't waste time with those projects. If you want to challenge me in distributed folding, go ahead. You won't win though.

You can't win if you don't play... I love RC5 it runs so good on Macs plus there's a chance I might win the cash, much more than there is a chance ill win the lottery!!!! BTW turning on internet sharing in System Prefs is not scriptable, I tried recording and it didn't grab anything. How can you set up internet sharing over airport using routing software? When you create a network in airport, it automatically created a computer to computer network. I want to create a "wap" with it, like using BrickHouse instead of system prefs so it will start at startup. Anyone know?
