I have just installed an AE card in my new PB12 and have it on a network with my G4...the G4 is connected via Ethernet and the PB is using 802.11b. Running 10.2.6 on both hosts.

Here's the deal...the wireless connection works most of the time, but after the PB has been turned off for a while and I try to rejoin the network, the linksys doesn't "see" it and the AE card "self-assigns" an IP address..

I've tried all of the various Airport setup options (use a specific network seems to work the most), and I've been careful to turn off AirPort before shutting down the PB (even disabled all "sleep" settings).

The Linksys is only 3 days old and the firmware is newer than what is on their website.

The only recourse I have is to power cycle the Linksys and then all is well again....a pain.

Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated....

Thanks.
